The figures, from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), showed that manufacturing made the largest contribution to the slowdown, contracting by 4.6% despite hopes that the weak pound would help exporters.

It maybe that the inability to get a loan from any bank to continue to expand or in this case remain stable has a lot to do with it. Even if the pound is weaker this is a world slow down not a UK slow down so I wouldn't imagine the weak pound being of any benefit. Having said that I sell more to EU countries now than I ever did :D

I assume that this is not your taxi business and that you have another commodity to sell.

You assume right I do have another couple of commodities that I sell and fortunately for me I don't need nor want a bank loan although it would be nice I shall just plod on and slowly slowly build it up :D
