Taxi Driver Online

With the clocks going forward, the police closed our 2 clubs at 2 AM this would now be 3 AM
So we had nearly 1k folk out on the streets
normaly between 2 and 3 there is a nice trickle of folk heading home and when 3AM comes there are around 500 left and the streets are normaly cleared by 4 am
Last night there was nothing but rioting and it took nearly 2 hours to clear everyone
If the police had left the clubs alone for the extra hour none of it would have happened

There's trouble in our town every week they don't need an excuse

I dont think it would have been on the scale I witnessed last night, nearly 400 going at it hammer and tongs, and the police with there batons drawn and that cs spray going everywhere and they used tasers as well

My working nights are spent illuminated by blue flashing lights it's like a form of chinese torture. There are usually between 15 and 30 police watching 4 clubs and ocassionally we have metal detectors outside our clubs. If I thought it was because of a lack of taxis I'd be the first to say we needed more. It obviously isn't as the taxis rank outside the clubs and there are more than enough to go round. Some people are hell bent on causing trouble and our town has more than it's fair share of these people

The worst night i seen was the night of the Dundee strike 17th nov 2007 . I Was out in my private car looking to spot the scabs and it was mayhem i stopped to tell a police officer in a van that a fight was going on up the street he said my vans full and there's fighting going on all over the fxxking town.He looked a bit stressed.
