'Dumbest criminal' robs retired cop at US police convention!

London, Mar 30 (ANI): A man, who held up a retired police chief at gunpoint at a police officers' convention, has been dubbed as the dumbest criminal in Pennsylvania.

John Comparetto, a retired police chief from New York, was present at the convention attended by 300 other narcotics officers.

He revealed that a man had pointed a gun in his face in the men's loo at the hotel where the conference was being held, and had demanded money from him.

Comparetto handed over his money and mobile phone, and when the man fled, he and his colleagues chased after him and found him crouching in the back of a taxi outside.

The retired officer then stopped the taxi at gunpoint with his fellow officers, who then arrested a 19-year-old man near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

A reporter asked the suspect for a comment as he was led out of the court.
