at 11 pm last night I commenced a tour to a place called Totton in Southampton for a pick up at 5.30am a tour of a mere 540 miles.return trip
I was told to wait by a layby by this industrial estate, and ring a mobile phone number, which I did it kept going onto voice mail a message was left
at 6.30 I decided it was a no show and commenced my way back, he phoned my mobile at 9.30 am to ask where I was, I told him near the midlands.
his language was full of expletives.
he phoned at 10.30 to ask how far I was now to be told near to Birmingham.
he phoned control to ask if I would turnround and go back, this after 11 and a half hours solid driving.
the controller tried to send another taxi but no one would go.
have we the most intelligent day shift in the country?
this job was contracted out to our private hire rivals for a commission of 20%
hope they can deal with stress and anger!
