there shud be a new rule!!!! ALL taxi compaines shud be responsible for the passenger liability....in that case the taxi companies will TRAIN their drivers, educate them, teach them the basics of handling passengers...etc...irrespective whether it be a saudi or ajanib.
I quite like this comment........

The fact is that all the taxi drivers have a tough life in terms of paying the daily rent or monthly lease for their cars may it be expatriate or saudi drivers. Unfortunately when i was in kingdom i had two chances of taking a saudi taxi driver. Both times once i reached to my destination they shouted at me asking me more money which i had to pay. I think what is needed to change this situation is that they should be given some training by some govt institution as to how to deal with customers. Some basic attiquates will work a long way in changing the perception among local population about the Saudi Taxi drivers. After all it is their country and they have more right than any other expatriate taxi driver
......... and this one. I'm sure the Saudi taxi drivers probably don't think training is necessary cos they've been doing the job so long what could they possibly learn and some of them may well be right. It would however improve their image which I think is always a good thing
