This happened 5 times yesterday when the hairdressers phoned up asking us to send the return taxi now and being short handed with drivers off and at the airport it was no joke one was over an hour early !!

Seriously it was quite a headache getting the bookings rearranged any thoughts on a solution to this other than refusing to take return bookings !

You are going to have to get them to ring when they are ready, and if you are not then they have two choices.

You can't wait an hour unpaid, better to dump the job.

Keep your hair on mate; it ain't such a big problem.

Rule 1. Never ask granny how long she's going to be at the hairdressers; she ain't got a clue & that's why your return bookings get screwed up.

Rule 2. Always get out of your car when you get to the hairdresser on the delivery journey & ask the hairdresser how long Mrs Blue-Rinse is going to be & arrange a return time WITH THE HAIRDRESSER!!

Rule 3. The hairdresser WILL know how long the appointment will be & he / she will try their best to work to that pick-up time, so that Mrs Blue-Rinse will be ready just as you roll-up for the return pick-up.

Rule 4. By being pro-active with the hairdresser you are likely to get work from them too in the future.

Simples!!
