Government move on illegal cabs


In a shock announcement yesterday, the home office and department for transport announced key changes to the law.

Minicabs, known as private hire cars in the provinces are to be crushed when they are caught illegally plying for hire.

The drivers of the vehicles are to be taken away and castrated with a blunt instrument.

A spokesman from the Home Office stated, "We hope the measures taken will discourage a dangerous practice".

A spokesman for the National Private Hire Union advised us that he was not too sure about what he would say, but that he would wait for his mailbag during the next few weeks before making his mind up.

The Transport and general workers union have broadly welcomed the new move, stating they were initially suprised by the new law, however they were please that parts of their blueprint were being accepted by the government.

A spokesman for the National Taxi Trades union, which is predominant in the north west of england have added a word of caution, saying that they feel that there maybe an unmet demand of testicles and urge the government to implement graduated growth after a survey.
