I'm sure everone sticks a waste paper bin full of paper soaked in highly flamable nail varnish remover next to a hot cable !!!

That was a totally ridiculous and unscientific experiment designed purely for effect

I use low energy bulbs in my house which don't work with dimmer switches so i haven't got any and most houses that do have them and the wires inside the wall not on top of waste paper bins
