Cheers for the responses guys, very much appreciated.

I got in touch with them both yesterday, so just waiting to hear back from them. Good to know they seem reliable enough.

Depending on the amount of work they are putting my way, I wouldn't have a problem with having a couple of drivers/cars just pretty much dedicated to covering the accounts, and fit other stuff around it.

Time of day and day of the year doesn't bother me, if there is work to be had at a stupid time of day or on Christmas day etc, I will do it myself if none of my drivers are willing to start early or stay late. I will only turn work away if we genuinely cannot cover it. Just a bit concerned we may not be big enough though. If you don't mind me asking, what size of fleets are you guys operating with?

Cabline use companies with only 2 cars mate, I met one down London at the Wembely EWS depot once I think his company name was DTR and they'd been with Cabline for a few years. You don't have to be a big firm to do contracts.

We have 45 cars in our system (we only had 35 last year and then we installed DataMaster. Hooray another pro DataMaster thread)

We are a good bit smaller, but will try and cover as much as possible. Will give it a good go. Don't think we are at the point of needing computerised dispatch just yet!

Thanks for that. Glad they use small firms too, I've been at places before where due to their size they have got work and to be honest the service provided was awful, but they kept getting the work because the customers could only see the size of fleet.
