I'm now a driver with an i phone, and like a few other like minded individuals (800 as of last week) are now servicing the latest i phone app for London, LDNTaxiapp.
It's free, it's offered me a few jobs, and I think it's the future.

This could be a solution anywhere in the country to take back some work.
