You may recall from reading the notes of the Bus & Taxi Operators' Forums that some operators have expressed interest in re-introducing a scheme that would give earlier settlement of contract invoices in return for a discount on the amount payable. In order to gauge interest in such a scheme your views are welcomed - you can do this by clicking on the link above and completing a very short survey.

Thanks for your comments - I'd encourage you to fill in the survey so that we can include your views in the consultation. I'd also point out again that the idea for the scheme came specifically from requests from some operators i.e. this is not a project instigated by the Council.

Obviously you feel it is not applicable to you but some operators do, hence why we wanted to gauge views both for and against the possible scheme.
