A fox wont kill for food only, it wont take 1 chicken, it will kill everything it can get at, I agree that the foxes were there before the chickens but its still horrendous what they can do in a few minutes, however I dont not think hunting them with hounds keeps the numbers down, and it certainly is not cost effective.

Killing for fun is wrong and doing it in such a gruesome fashion is sick. By all means, if foxes are a pest, then control them.
But do it in a manner befitting the 21st century, not something that should have stayed in the dark ages.

Actually it would be wrong to say that they kill for fun as we do not know that. It would seem that they kill "wrongly" i.e not just for what they need. People also seem to use the yardstick of "the fox rips their prey apart" as an excuse to do the same, as if it is some sort of retribution that makes it right.

Remember this - we know that it is not humane...........they do not.

I think that it is fair to say that most would agree to a "Humane" end, that in many respects would nullify the fish argument as many are killed with a smack on the head - not ripped apart limb by limb.
