Just a thought.

I would have thought that you should have reported the accident! Telling them that you are dealing with the repairs, that in effect should still keep the no claims intact.

One very important thing you have to remember- the guy can still come back within the next THREE years and make an injury claim against you !! If your thinking "RUBBISH", then think "Injury claims Lawyers" who advertise left right and centre........Have you had an injury in the last couple of years .

You will probably have invalidated your "Insurance "cover, my guess is that they could come after you for payment......................As I say - only a thought!!!

P.S You are a named driver - it is not your insurance.............What is the problem?

I have reported it and that I am dealing with the repairs. ..
I know I am named but it will rack up my dads insurance who is the policy holder.

ref dads insurance, you do realise the policyholder should be the main user, being a named driver as a ploy to avoid paying a big lump out is now not accepted

Looking at both photos it looks impossible for all the damage to the bottom of the pigs bumper to have happened it looks like most of it was there already, unless you have a towing eye on the OS front of your car

A few years ago I witnessed an RTA where one car ran into the back of another. The front car had extensive damage to rear end. The drivers were looking over their damage when the driver of the front car said "no, I can't see any damage to my vehicle." I looked at him and said "but your back end is smashed in." His reply was "no, that happened in the crash yesterday." =D> =D> =D>
