Mind you it could just be the release bearing

Define clutch slip? The clutch is fine as far as I can tell.

It might not be slipping yet, but you can usually tell when you put your foot down in third or 4th gear or going up a hill and the rev's hit the roof and the engine starts to rev like mad but you don't go much faster

Its like you haven't realised the clutch fully before you put your foot back on the throttle that sort of sound.

It may not be doing it yet just wearing.. or of course may not even be that!!! it just sounds like that. I would't worry to much you will notice a slipping clutch if it happens.

I have it on good authority, that Allah drives a Zafira Tourer. You know the score Gus. A strange light appears in the sky accompanied by a voice (sounds a wee bit like Morgan Freeman) saying, "buy a New Vauxhall Zafira Tourer. The virgins love it. Oh and it comes with SatNav built in and stop-start technology. You couldn't ask for more in a PH." #-o

When did 200K become a special high mileage on a diesel?

"Ive had the Vectra 200,000 miles, its had 4 engines, 3 gearboxes, 5 EGR valves, 3 DMF's. 8 injectors, 4 starter motors....."

So apart from a few minor teething troubles the Vectra was a pretty reliable car? #-o
