It is important to note that the barrier systems are designed to allow one vehicle through at a time. I am aware some barriers may inadvertently leave time for 2 vehicles to go through however; this is not how they should be used and can result in damage to both vehicle and the barrier system.
Any damage to the barriers from drivers not following this instruction could result in the schools requesting reimbursement.
The barrier systems used at schools are an essential safeguarding requirement a lot of schools implement and must be used correctly.
