I realise that, but, in this country we are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. Not always the case I know but we have to stick with this or the whole system just breaks down. I want nothing more than proven sex offenders and pedos prosecuted to the full extent of the law but I also don't want innocent people suffering in the process. I don't know who is innocent or guilty in the cases written by the Guardian but I would like to think that if there are any innocent parties they are protected. I have read a lot of the messages posted by Stinson and I have to say they all make me feel sick to the stomach but I haven't seen all the messages regarding Sam so I can't really comment with any certainty. All in all there is good coming from what he does he just has to make sure he does it properly and ensures his facts are correct before posting things. Being a bit of a perv that likes to go on adult chat sites does not make you a pedo. I hope he continues but what I really hope for is that he doesn't need to but that is never going to happen

Getting away from the apparent hysteria surrounding this sort of thing, when I ran bus company in Mitcham, before the days of the CRB system, I had the unfortunate "pleasure" to employ more than 4 people who turned out to be child sex offenders. One of those was someone I'd known for over 20 years and was a co-director; another was a driver who "looked" a bit weird but had children and grand-children; another seemed to be a loving father but a few sandwiches short of a picnic; another was a much older man, a stickler for rules and regulations.

I would suggest it was the internet that developed their fetish and made it easier to obtain what they wanted.

The first was discovered after he took his computer to a well known chain to get it repaired, he had 32,000 images on 2 hard drives. The second groomed school girls on the school bus and was eventually accused of raping his grand-daughter on a bus he took to a rally (he died of a heart attack before that case went to court); the third done things to his step-son; the fourth done things to his step-daughter. A couple of other men who used to hang around bus operations were jailed for procuring boys. It got a bit tedious having to keep giving evidence in the Old Bailey against such people.

There's a lot of it around and if everyone who is into Doing Things To Children went to jail, there simply isn't enough jails to house them.
