Come and have a chat on the station with us mere mortals ! I hate Chester races. Last weekend is the worst out the lot, we call it "blood and guts weekend"

The races are being frequented by the Saturday night mobs nowadays.

You're not wrong there. In an effort to combat the "trouble" the racecourse have put a limit on how much alcohol you are allowed to take onto the open course ( either two 500ml cans or one bottle of wine per person ). You can of course, buy as much alcohol from the bars and vendors on the open course itself ???
We all use to attend the Sunday family days until the racecourse started ripping people off, £10 per person entry (plus parking), £10 for small gazebos, £15 for large. and now this booze limit.
The only other meeting I attend now is our Regimental reunion in May and then only because we run our own bar.
