I usually do a meet and greet service, I use flight Radar Pro on my mobile. You can track the plane from take off to landing and that gives you an Idea of when they should be coming through the arrivals lounge, though the Airport seems to delight in holding them back to increase parking costs.

Very seldom do I have a clients Mobile number as the runs are mostly on behalf of Hotels in my area.

Still galls me though at just how hungry these airport Parking suppliers are...though the new Pick up Zone at least has plenty spaces most of the time..

And once again, I say go to www.pepipoo.com

They call themselves 'Fight Back Forums' because that is precisely what they do. Any queries whatsoever regarding motoring law can be posted on the forums and addressed by a wealth of knowledge and experience. I'm anticipating more fun from an overstay near an airport within the next 14 days. If it occurs, I will post the story on here for you all to read.

With the correct approach using legal knowledge, rather than keyboard supposition, there is never any need to be out of pocket in these situations.

Ryan Air call the shots at east midlands now all this constant car park redevelopment is to generate extra revenue to keep their charges down ! I was told some time ago that they are determined to get everyone to pre book their parking which is why 75% of whats left of the car park is for that having removed huge sections of it near the terminal to create all that empty vehicle free space. I have a pick up from there on Thursday am dreading it

I don't mind airport runs.

I don't worry about parking, I have educated punters who know how and when to use their mobiles.

well on Thursday there were about 20 spaces left in the bottom corner farthest from the terminal eusasmiles.zip went in found my passengers then tried to pay machine put first pound coin in it went into slot but no further !!! couldn't remove it or push it in or get it to eject tried the call button after 5 mins no reply so had to use another machine so cost me £3.40 for under half an hour !!!!!!!!!!

EMA is fast becoming the rip off capital of Britain no wonder they are posting record profits !!!!

They are all the same.

Stanstead was good years ago, but that's now one of the worst.

At least at Gatwick and Heathrow you can drop off for nothing.

But Gatwick North terminal now has only one car park and NO provision for high sided vehicles so pick ups are a nightmare !
