What most hacks dont do is promotion, they dont advertise, have websites, even signage on the cars (their own signs) or cards which relate to THEM, but they claim to be businessmen

Simply delete the Apps not connected to a circuit, make them unreliable and the punter will either walk out into the street to hail a cab or most likely phone a cab, the punter of an App like Uber&Gett arn't going to disappear they are going to just seek another way of getting a taxi, this way we make the money we are entitled to, hit delete and save our Trade ffs.

I don't understand this comment at all. If you have an app and pay for jobs completed how is that different to paying a circuit operator for the chance of a job :?

I'd rather invest in a local operation than a Global one Toot's, one has moral's and Value's the others only concern is huge profit and at the local drivers expense, we don't have to give a slice away, the local market is what it is.

Like Com Cab?

Or Radio taxis?

Lets face it, large city based driver owned co-operative radio circuits are few and far between.

The only one in London is Dial a Cab, and they'd want nearly £180 a month from me to go on their system. =;

And of course driver owned circuits have one major failing ..... Taxi drivers that get on a committee, suddenly thinking they're businessmen :lol:

Like on our firm where none of the directors have any sort of business qualification or experience of working within a business environment, other than operating their own taxi.

The same directors who when just drivers moaned about the way the company is run yet once elected (by other drivers who are shareholders) then do nothing to change the stuff they were moaning about ! What really gets me is the way they then act all superior, thinking they are suddenly so much better than everyone else in the company, forgetting that it's only an insignificant taxi company and not a global multi-billion pound corporation.

The good thing is they have to step down after a couple of years and go back on the streets - then they find out how many friends they've lost :badgrin:

In a Trade dominated by the Alpha Male we are alway's going to get the type you mention Sasha, What we have in our co-op though is a cracking team, I'm not talking about our committee I'm talking about our departments, Great staff in our Call centre, our Marketing department, our customer/driver service department and our Accounts department, we have the right people in place running our co-op and they are fully qualified to do so, that's a major benefit of a co-op, our radio fee covers investment in people, our staff are highly trained, we have to put aside your train of thought and see the bigger picture, the One Percent, the big boy's, companies like Gett and Uber are run by Alpha Males but these guy's are ruthless, they only analyse numbers, they don't care if there liked, they don't care about human emotion, they don't care about customer service or being reliable, they are only interest is profit and at any expense, our co-op is non profit making, we use surpluses to invest in technology, to invest in staff training, too cut our carbon, donate to local charities and to protect ourselves for the future, we are 90 years old on the 14th.

I'd rather invest my money in a co-op than a global corporate any day, in Edinburgh we are lucky to be in a position of strength, I hope our trade keeps it that way.

I'll post this again maybe 3rd time lucky I'll get an answer.

Thanks

I'm just looking for something to assign jobs to the drivers and they should be able to accept or decline then click a button to say if they're available or unavailable, and I should be able to see the statuses of the drivers on my controller screen in the office & it should come with tracking

What should I expect to pay per driver per week for something like this
