Had a great weekend! Very nearly ran out of beer tokens though. Rip off Britain is alive and well in twickenham, the pubs were all selling beers at five pounds a pint, including wetherspoons! Still, are we downhearted? Of course we are, going to be supporting Ireland from here on in, until they get chopped in the quarter finals.

Just occurred to me that even IF Scotland lose to Samoa we have another chance to qualify :shock:

USA to beat Japan :wink:

We'll beat Samoa though :lol:

Ever the glutton for punishment, I found tickets for England v Uruguay online at knock down, fire sale prices. So we went to Manchester yesterday, and picked up our tickets, change out of forty quid for three cat B tickets, thank you very much! Shame about the over zealous security at the sh!ttyshed, ( formerly known as the etihad) queuing for an hour to get in the stadium area, and they ran out of beer, ffs!! Still, a try fest, and a chance for supports to show their respect for the players by performing a phucking Mexican wave twenty minutes in! Otherwise a grand day out. And I wonder who came up with the brilliant idea of two massive rugby games on the same night?
