Well nothing unusual about a driver getting stroppy about a short fare in such a scenario, but clearly he was well over the top if the lady's version is correct.

But if he was stroppy about getting a short journey then surely it would have been better to complete it? Or am I reading it wrongly and the problem isn't a 'short' journey?

I wonder if the driver would have changed cars if the job had been a £30 one? :-k

I wonder if that driver moans about the job when he has a day of good runs? :-k

It happens to us all at times, but you just have to lump it.

Hi
I down right refuse to use the taxis at Glasgow Airport. I have meet some ignorant drivers over the years but I think they take the biscuit. Not only are they rude if your on a fare under £20. They are bloody bad drivers chasing each other along the M8 motorway to try and get back in line before everyone else.

Better off phoning a Glasgow Hackney to pick you up at the airport. Its even cheaper.

Judge, jury or executioner?

I'm curious as to how you see yourself and why?

And yes, I am waiting for a victim, you see I am all of the above

Just so everyone is aware Taxi 1 is an old friend of TDO that just can't keep away.

Maybe he has given his mate RCFF, who is another old friend, his password. Who knows? But at least it gives us all a view as to the quality of comment and debate on the liars forum.

It would seems even those two are getting bored with patting each other on the back. I even heard a rumour that they have a topic that dosen't mention TDO.

Heaven forbid. :D

Does anybody from Scotland feel that they should be issued with a Light Box to help balance their brain chemistry, in the interests of public safety you understand. I wonder how much of this is due to SAD or seasonal affective disorder.

As long as you don't get him. :D

TAXI SPEED READING

A SPEEDING taxi driver did not realise he'd been clocked by traffic cops - because he was looking at a map.

Ian Fenwick, 31, was doing 38mph in Perth's Shore Road when officers wearing yellow vests tried to flag him down - but he drove past them.

Yesterday, at the city's sheriff court, he admitted driving carelessly and at excessive speed. He was fined £350 and given seven penalty points
