In my experience customers EXPECT the fare to be the same whether dropping off or picking up we used to try charging the car parking on pick ups but customers always ignored that and honed in on the quote so if it isn't included in the price Quoted you don't get it

these days I compromise by adding £5 on towards it on the quote and it is then the drivers choice when to go into the car park

Our quotes always contained "and appropriate car parking charge's and waiting time" because some times there could be long delays when our Comrades the baggage handlers were having some agg so in that case the punter got charged waiting time AND the car park :D :D Had some decline so left them there fook emm

Then of course there was the long haired hippy types coming in from Amsterdam you new they would get tugged by customs so they got well stitched up when that happend =D> £££££££££££££££££

Obviously the likes of edders have to go along with the NORM in yokel land and i reckon soon they will be paying the punter to pick emm up its all that sh!t between the lugs oles  :lol:bleedin carrot crunching burkes #-o

Dont you just love the kudos of saying "im on an airport job"

but hold on...

Local price to BHX is £32.50 (inc gate fee) 20 miles loaded (40 return) 25 minutes each way (nearer an hour round trip dropping or x .5 collecting)

My school run (1) is 30 miles inbound/loaded for £45 (and out in the afternoon) and far easier (no motorway junctions to negotiate, no luggage, no flight delays, no gate fees)

and its 5 mornings/5 afternoons...

but no kudos or glamour in it

There wasn't any Kudos in my post I don't usually do them, when I do they're only for friends. This one was for a friends daughter and they wanted her getting their and back safe. I won't tell you how much they've paid me because it Pisses all over your school run.

School runs don't count either, they won't last forever. If it's anything to go by round here they'll drop you like a stone as soon as someone drops a cheaper quote no matter if the contract has just started or is halfway through.
