Taxi Driver Online

One of my drivers has just wasted 20 minutes on a no pick up for cabfind. I got a text message last night with 2 bookings one from the train station this morning and one return tonight booked with separate booking references but the return one was a digit short

I have just phoned them up and they are adamant that they never booked the return with us but sent a different taxi company out for the return

Cabfind seem to do this a lot booking one journey with one firm and another with another quite often from much further away a trait not unique to them. Another lot down in london placed a few bookings with us for a local job ferrying school meals then kept sending a firm from Peterborough for the job in the end the school book direct with us now and don't go through the company account

I have told them straight we are not doing cabfind work any more. If they were not booking the return with us how come they gave us the return details

A.N.Other "booking app" showed a job, not on my doorstep so i waited till the rang yesterday asking if i wanted it, customer had paid £19, i said I wanted £24, so they topped up the fare...this was 4pm, job was late last night..

i text the customer, i had the pickup address but not the full dropoff address


she had cancelled the job friday

the "base" was adamant she hadnt, she had got the email confirming her cancellation but thought the bit saying refunded meant she had been refunded....ho ho ho.... bet she hasnt
