It's come to something when UberEats charges more for a 1 mile delivery than we charge for Tariff 1
They get £4.00 after ubers cut, we get £3.20 and have base rent to come off that.

we have a local Indian restaurant do takeaway deliveries by taxi but they pay £3 for a town job (up to 2 miles) and then about £1 a mile over that they have a list of fixed prices that one of the firms did for them 20 years ago and they stick to it like glue

They are constantly phoning me up but my drivers won't touch them even on a quiet night (except one) and they tend to phone him direct then phone me but usually only at the busiest time on a saturday night

The worse ones were late at night to massive houses set back 200 yards from the road with no numbers, they'd moan that their meal was late. Sorry love I've spent ½ an hour looking for your house down this dark lane.
