Its similar to calling M & O in Birmingham, they re-direct you to Holloway Road.

Still, when the alternatives arrive . . . .

And do you hear any complaints from the likes of the T&G and NTA? Do you f***.

As the deputy edition of Taxi 'talk' said, all they are interested in is keeping taxi quotas, and as long as the gov keep them then the rest doesn't matter. [-(

When, if, you ever get this much sought after plate you seek, will you join a driver representative body?

Or will you leave your income in the hand of fate, bearing in mind as a Taxi you never know who's about to stick their hand out, opposed to pre-arranged work through an office?

Just wondered. Image

Well anyone who puts their faith in the NTA and T&G under their present leadership is as thick as thick can be.

But when I get my free cab plate, as I will, then I just might start up my own little taxi union. I will then be able to fight for the whole of the trade, not just a selected few. I will then be able to concentrate on fares and driver's safety, as opposed to premiums and quota safety.

Talking about fares, I find it simply amazing, yes simply amazing, that (outside of London) the biggest influence on taxi fares is the National Private Hire Association.

As Cummins said, if it's not about taxi quotas the NTA and T&G don't give a dam.

As far as I know they will send any part nationwide (not sure about panels though) I just had a look at the web site.
