Tell them they can either accept the lost property or arrest you for theft by finding. Suspect they'd choose the easier option. But if they didn't, you have a good defence :badgrin:

Not really, you just keep it for a certain period and, unless claimed, you keep it for good.

Exactly what else can you do?
