Ours has gone up £20 pw for 2 weeks to help pay the extra staff wages (double time) but i only pay £70 anyway so an extra £40 isnt much, considering the flack they have to put up with, they deserve it.

It's an interesting point, but I doubt many firms will reduce their dues (settle) when it's pony. [-(

Fair point.
But one of the night lads went ape over it, but forgot he borrowed £350 (off the owner of the company) to get his car through test a week ago!

We get a bottle off him anyway, so it all works out in the end.

yeh ours has gone up £40 this week to pay for extra staff wages. Not bad to say we only have about ten staff and over 150 drivers paying this £40 extra.

we pay an extra tenner for just one week, but hey if you work at a company you get a bonus of your boss, wouldn't it be nice if we got free settle over crimbo
