Regional Affairs Executive
- Coventry based £23-26k Per Annum

LTI (London Taxis International), the manufacturers of the world-famous 'black cab' are seeking a Regional Affairs Executive to build and maintain relationships with key figures in Local government, and the Taxi trade.

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Assisting to formulate LTI's policies on public issues,
* Communicating LTI's short and medium term business objectives to all key stake holders and maintaining an influential presence during discussions,
* Lobbying all UK councils to provide the best conditions for LTI vehicles,
* Developing relationships with regional Taxi Associations and organisations
* Assisting LTI Dealers with local issues on policy and legislation

This role offers wide scope, encompassing all aspects of regionally based legislative, political and licensing issues, and would suit an all-round professional.

The successful candidate will have lobbying experience, and a business development background.

Ideal candidates should have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills together with a flexible and proactive approach to work.

You should possess at least 3 years experience in a similar role or be educated to degree level.

And of course, Allied vehicles have never ever lobbied councils, or the PCO to get their "Taxi's" approved as fit for the purpose, have they?
