Can anyone help me by suggesting who are the cheapest insurance company to go with these days.

I've had a few quotes for my Vectra 2.0 LS and the highest was £3800 (a bit steep i thought)

I'm going to be a new p/h driver in ellesmere port soon, i have a clean license, full no claims (non taxi) and I'm 30 years old in April. Any help will be great. :)

For some reason the insurance companies don't like the North West. So maybe £2,300 isn't that bad.

But then it's not me paying it.

Me, I got change out of £700 this year, fully comp. It really does help having full NCB, no penalty points. And also insured only to drive. "a-plan insurance group" Poole, Dorset. Might just be for good drivers like me, though

Thanks guys. I rang around plenty of insurance companies and found one for £2300 (swinton). I also found one for £2387 (budget) and that includes a replacement plated car in the event of an accident that was no fault of my own. Not bad considering the first quote i had was nearly £4000 :D
