seems my high risk 7 years without issue no claims is not acceptable when i switch to 50 miles a week pottering to garden centres and Aldi shopping

yup these days you have to surrender your no claims with the policy and start again :sad:

Or do as 1 driver here has been doing for a few years, just keep the car plated and renew your badge but don't do any work.
