that's the infamous Rufford Mill ford and after pressure from locals the road has now been closed as it was attracting too many spectators

most modern vehicles have a safe immersion depth of less than 600mm but I doubt if less than 1 in 10 drivers knows that !

600mm sports suv

ford fiesta or vauxhall corsa half that

but apparently land rover defender 900mm (less than 3ft !) and that's the highest of any uk car
