*<^!@" government

so they have stripped Lincolnshire of £9M in grants and added £15 Million onto the wages cost through employers NI cost  so we can expect a large rise in council tax bills next year

Council tax rises are limited to 5% for councils will caring committments, usually county councils and 3% for all other councils, usually district councils. This has been the same for years.and most councils increas by the maximum. The only way they can go above these percentages is if they hold a local referendum and I doubt any council will get one of them passed.
Didn't the public sector get an exemption from the national insurance increase in the budget?

Maybe not sending SEN pupils to a £90,000 per child per year independent school might save a bit

one near us can take 140 pupils and is one of about 10 owned by 1 company

work that out

(and 90% travel in by taxi)
