cant believe we're top of the league

SHHH... don't tempt fate

that said I can't see any other teams in that division that have a better chance but there are probably more in contention than most other divisions

cant see us doing it tbh - unless the gaffer has a good January transfer window

trophy result nicely swerved in that post

And the Imps had a lovely Xmas, thank you kindly.

i did notice but thought no point mentioning it as you are nowadays a very infrequent visitor to the forum

I am an infrequent visitor to the site, as you say. It’s now four years since I drove a taxi in anger, or any other state of mind.
So I feel I no longer have anything to add to the mass debate relating to the taxi trade.
I suppose I’m just not that interested anymore…

any way back to the this weekends results and it was draws all round except for my lot that got an extremely rare win away at worcester city with the seagulls arrempting to dump guano over the cherries on monday night which shouls be easier now that the latter have sold their best player.

PS the dannies are still stranded at the bottom of the table despite the welcome 3 points with Tuesday night the 3rd attempt at a home game vs Sudbury although I doubt you'll get odds on yet another cancellation. I by some miracle we win that and get back to back wins we might just move above Royston

wow an excellent win today meaning that my team have DOUBLED their wins total for the season in 2 weeks

CC's carlisle had their game postponed so no opportunity for another embarrassing score.

No game this weekend for the Imps

In the Premier league the seagulls are demonstrating their brilliant form taking a point from their last two games Spurs actually got a point although our Edinburgh spurs supporter doesn't frequent the forum these days. Pete will be hoping for Brentford to not be on form tomorrow

Lincoln's game was switched to Thursday night. Lincoln 2-1 Burton Albion a dire game in dire conditions.

Lincoln now sit 2nd in league one, 4 points below Cardiff, 6 points above Bolton in third. Oh, and we now have a billionaire American chairman! Could be playing West Ham next season…

last saturday was postponed like many in non league so having dropped points at home the previous saturday (thats the second time this season Tim Flowers has taken points off us with 2 different clubs) another 6 pointer coming up against stourbridge this coming saturday and if we don't pick the points up we are as good as down !

As for those that did play this weekend I think Jimbo will be as happy as larry but the rest dissapointed after the eagles grabbed 3 points at the Amex leaving the seagulls sliding ever closer to the relegation zone they coulsn't go down surely ?

Jimbo doesn’t know Larry, but he’s pretty sure he is happier than Larry.

More to the point I saw an interesting video on you tube (channel called beyond the prem) which listed the wagebill of every club in that division. The imps wagebill is approcimately half that of Cardiff with Luton having a wagebill 2 and a half times that of the Imps. It makes you think

Quiz question for the week which is the only EFL club with a wage bill under £2 million ?

So Forest sack Dyche even though he has won a higher percentage of games than the previous 8 managers and have opted for yet another foreign coach.

abolute madness it'll serve them right if they gp down now

Imps manager Micheal Skubala manager of the month.

Hope it’s not the kiss of death.
