Sad though this lady's death may be, it doesn't appear to have anything to do with the taxi trade. I see the local cycling fascists have wasted no time jumping on the bandwagon though. It always amuses me how cyclists think the highway code applies to everyone but themselves. :sad:

Perhaps all bicycles should carry number plates and riders forced to pass a cycling test before they are given a license to ride. The license can then be endorsed every time they commit an offence? lol

That would be a nice little earner for the Government.

Would only work if the cops enforced it. They seem happy to let cyclists do whatever they like.
