I suppose we can't leave out the Public Service Vehicles Lost Property Regulations. I'm sure Dinkidoo who took the Transportation NVQ can advise us about these regulations. lol.

Maybe GA can advise us considering he has just obtained an NVQ level 3 A1 assessors certificate or whatever it is. Or perhaps better still, the guy who Assessed Ga could tell us what the psv lost property regulations are?

Regards

PSV regulations required the driver/conductor to hand in any lost property at the earliest opportunity at the lost property office in the main bus station. A lost property award of 10% of the value of the property was required to be paid to collect the property, uncollected lost property was returned to the driver/conductor after 3 months.

Lincoln by laws.

21. The proprietor or driver of a hackney carriage shall if any property accidentally left therein by any person who may have been conveyed in the carriage be found by or handed to him:-

(a) carry it within twenty-four hours, if not sooner claimed by or on behalf of its owner, to the office of the Chief Constable of the City, and leave it in the custody of the Officer in charge of the office on his giving of a reciept for it.

(b) be entitled to recieve from any person to whom the property shall be re-delivered an amount equal to five pence in the pound of its estimated value (or the fare for the distance) but not more than five pounds.
