OK, so maybe its not all that new, the idea of coin stickers on the tails of pound coins has been around for quite a while. They first appeared in 2006 as a way of advertising by some small taxi firms and bars promoting themselves.

Since 2006 more and more companies have started to use this great form of advertising, taxi firms and even individuals seem to be ahead of the game when it comes to coin stickers, the return on such a small cost is better than most other forms of advertising.

The problem is that most companies either don't know that this form of advertising exists, or are unsure as to where to purchase these stickers from. Some companies know about coin stickers but are unsure of the legalities, well we can assure you that it is fully legal as long as the sticker is on the tails side of the coin.

Answers to the most common questions about coin stickers can be found on our website: http://www.coinstickers.com

Coin stickers are fast becoming a big part of the advertising frontline, many small businesses across the country are starting to realise the huge potential of such a small sticker!

It is only a matter of time before the uniqueness of seeing a sticker on a coin has worn off, it is time your business made the most of this opportunity before it is to late.

The response of most people is actually a good one, you may get one disgruntled person but it is by far made up by the amount of new customers you will get. one firm in Newbury have their coin stickers filled into every fruit machine in town, by the end of the night most people have at least one of these coins in their change.

About a year ago there was just three drivers now they have a fleet of 25.

yes they may get the odd phone call from out of the area or every so often someone moan about the stickers, but in return they have now taken over the big companies that dominated for years before.

And in case you were wondering, I am talking about NEWBURY, the company in question is Dolphin cars.

You can have what ever you like printed, any colours, any font. Prices on the website are for any text on a white background.

For a coloured background or images we charge a small amount more but is quoted on an individual basis. You must bear in mind the size of the coin stickers when using images as the clarity of a small picture is often poor.

Regarding colour backgrounds, the text used has to be slightly bolder/larger so you have slightly less text to play with. Just having a company name and number is not a problem though.

If you looked at the website you would see that they say not to cover the queens face and they also have a section for legal bits.

Because the sticker is classed as temporary attachment to the coin, the coin its self is not being defaced, there is no damage to the coin.

And regarding only dealing with paper money... see our gallery, coin stickers have been used on the circle on the rear of £10 notes.

We also distribute around £200 of our own advertising stickers a day, only on two occasion has someone asked what it was and weather we had any without a sticker. This is a very small percentage of the few hundred people we have handed them out to, both times was with someone from another country who was unfamiliar with the currency.

If you don't like handing them out yourself there are other methods for distribution as well, Fruit machines and self-service checkout are the top two.

The stickers catch your eye, they are easily noticeable.

You would be surprised at the positive response they receive.
