Like everyone on here I wish you a merry Xmas Charlie.

Two things you should include in your New Year's reslutions;

1) Please carry on fighting dumbo councils, and their LOs.
2) Try to get everyone this side of the trade on the same side, even if you don't like them.

In all councils i deal with the only one i have any issues with is preston this council sicen keith left and the other association stared up i have been unable to make any way into preston council.

but things will change and soon i am totaly P**S of with them and there attitude.

As for the others i take your point and very much so, for myself i dont have an issue with working with them but, there is a deep resentment to Mr. Selley in Preston not by me, now you would think that they would put some one at the front who the majority of the trade would and could work with.

We said that the money should be split 50 /50, but that was turned down as well and they kept it all Arround £5000? it could be more it could be less I am told but i dont know?. we said that we would give to a charity if we were given part.

i am told that part of it was the outing fund, which as never been done since i have been there.

So the members of the PHCA in Preston which we have as insturcted me not to work with them.

Now i am more then willing to press there case but if we win are loss it would wipe out the money in costs, so our barrister as told us to wait and see.

Just a couple of points;
You frequently make assertions about my unpopularity , I have spoken to many drivers from both sides over the weekend and It is not the impression I get. Even so, this is not 'x-factor' I'm totally unconcerned about a popularity contest, I have one concern....to represent our members and get results which benefit, THE TRADE AS A WHOLE! And I do!

I am fairly confident that you are not interested in our finances but you are having your strings pulled by a small group of 'agitators'. The funds have accrued over many years, surely you must see there is no 'grandfather' rights to the funds once a membership has expired. I couldn't go back to Mitton Fold Golf Club and say 'I used to be a member,
not now, can I have half your cash?'
Similarily, the 'affiliation', the small group who tried to hi-jack the PHCA need to understand, IT WAS NOT THEIRS TO AFFILIATE! The rules are crystal clear. Our Solicitor is in no doubt of this and presumably. so is yours otherwise you would have had your day in court.
Surely you must see this!

Following orders (albiet from a small group of ill-informed agitotors) is one thing, surely it is now time for you to show real leadership, tell them, persuing a divisive course and 'not working with us' is to the detriment of Prestons' Hackney trade as a whole!

The wise people on TDO have been saying this since day one!

You are right, many people (including subscribers on TDO) have formed the opinion that you are stupid. These are only opinions but then you provide supporting evidence by churning out what can best be described as written effluence! Not once but time and time again!

To call me a liar is simply incredible, liars get found out and the truth will always come out. This is why you and your group have lost EVERY BATTLE you have fought in this town while the PHCA have had great success, and are respected by other stakeholders.
You lose because you cannot be trusted and have the integrity of a seedy, corrupt back street bookie!

Far from being obsessed with getting rid of you, you are not a threat but merely an annoying interference! The PHCA has been around for 50 years and will be around for another 50 because without the PHCA, Prestons' Hackney trade, like you, would be reduced to a laughing stock!
