Total round our way has jumped to £139.9 for diesel. Taxi drivers are avoiding it like the plague at the moment.

Its official.

£1.40 a litre.

Gulf in Langford, Beds. Saw it today whilst on route to Sainsburys.

Mind you, a few miles back down the road, Esso in Letchworth are charging £1.32.

So drivers should be voting with their feet (or is it wheels?) and blanking those garages that are 'overcharging' the already over priced fuel.

All this tosh about making a few pence on a litre gets on my tits as well.

I know for a fact DHL the large courier firm, buys it in from their bulk supplier for £1.09 a litre (2 weeks ago)

So the likes of Esso must be buying it in for around £1.06 ish, so that's about 30p a litre in profit!!

Of course none of the above even come close to the famous Sloane Avenue garage in Chelsea who were charging £1.63 a litre on Saturday night, and a Cab driver was in topping up!

He must have had a good night!

when it gets to around £2.00 a litre (the £9.00 gallon) we're gonna have to be looking at charging around £1.25 for each and every mile we travel...and I cant see that washing with the public. I fear that this Job will soon be Fecked totally..

Blood its already £3.40 for the first mile and £1.60 for every mile after
so 1 £3.40 2 £5.20 5 £9.80 10 £17.60
Then plus 25% after 10 PM 1 £4.50 2 £6.40 5 £12.20 10 £21.90
You will have to increase your prices to catch up
I know your PH but you could almost match the hacks
