To all the people on this forum who have in the past bought or sold cab and plates.
Would like to know how much bought or sold for in which year and with which vehicle and town/city mainly looking at before 2000 because seeing how values have gone up or down in different towns/citys.

plates are worth absolutley nowt here and if you sell a vehicle are transferred to the new owner but otherwise when you change vehicle are handed in and a new number issued to the new vehicle which is as it should be !

Looks like data collecting to me, I gave 900k for mine but it's only worth £150 now so I guess I won't be paying any tax for a long time as I use up my cap gains loss eh.

Plates go from £1,000 to £100,000+.

Google Halcrow SUD Reports and in them you will see the average price a plate goes for in each district.

Although I'm not sure the benefit of such a list.

Birmingham is regulated now, but plates are still completely worthless and are being handed back to the council by drivers that can't sell them on.
