is an effing joke.if any of the directors are reading this you should hang your heads in shame.pathetic excuses for being non productive.the directors take upwards of £100,000 out of the company never seem to be out working and yet we continue to lose business and what do these clowns come up with ---- NOTHING. excuses excuses excuses living in the 70s no vision no balls a joke.

Sounds like you need to organise a shareholders revolt quite a few overpaid executives have had to take big pay cuts etc. after big questions raised at the AGM if they want to be paid big money they must EARN it and generate profits and value for the shareholders

Is "the company I'm a shareholder in" a TOA? If so who allowed the directors the right to take so much out the pot? Seems excessive in any circumstance. Ours has no renumeration to the directors.

dunno what TOA is but we have 4 directors none pay subs all have great school contacts (surprise surprise) never see them out working .1 got paid 25000 last year yet has time for they re school job and NEVER does any weekend or actual picking of customers up.the others took an avge of 10000 out .
what grates me is i would have no prob if they were any use and increased the work but they are pathetic.

as for leading a shareholders rebbellion not a chance they have all the proxy votes and to many drivers are bumspiders.

TOA would be Taxi Owners Association.
Did these directors get elected or did they put up the original capital that started the business?

Hay Mr Brave man instead of getting on here go in the office and SHOUT ask for a meeting ask for the directors to explain there high salary etc etc .no one will do it for you . So they think your a pain in the arse , I bet you would be surprised how many starts asking questions as well.If you have shares you have a say in how the business is run at the very least you are owed and have a right to a explanation on what's happening.
The meek will inherit the earth if they get off there arses and do something about it.

Where does it say that he is a share holder?

In any event you can be a shareholder - but not have any real say.
