I've just signed up to the dryathlete give up alcohol for january, much to the amusement of my darling wife of forty years.

31 days of no booze.

I hope I can stay on the wagon.

There will be no cheating, I am being watched, very closely!

It's for a good cause, (my liver!) so if anyone out there would like to sponsor me to help me keep up the momentum, visit http://www.justgiving.com/dryathlete-james-hart

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers! (a non-alcoholic toast)

Happy New year to one and all!

I think I have managed an average of 1 unit of alcohol every 3 months over the last 3 years in this job you just never know when the night drivers are going to phone you up to tell you they are stuck on a job so for me it is totally impractical to EVER drink and to be honest you don't miss it

I've not signed the pledge, just laying off the sauce for a month.
