Come on Andy win it for Britain !!!

Although no doubt our Scots members will begrudge that as most of them seem to insist that Scots are not Brits !!

We'll since we live on the geographical island of Great Britain, I'd say we're as British as you are. In my experience, it's the English who tend to have a problem distinguishing between England, Great Britain and The United Kingdom.

Strangely, most commentators describe Andy Murray as British when he wins. If he loses tomorrow, he'll be back to being Scottish again.

Not all Britons are supporting the man....http://wingsoverscotland.com/more-resea ... more-36862

Unless jock cunt!, Scotch cunt! etc are quaint Olde English terms of endearment

BTW, I hope he wins it for Scotland, Great Britain and The UK. But mostly, I hope he wins it for himself.

I think you will find it's the rest of the world.

I like the guy, am not a tennis fanatic but the wife is, she screams at the telly and you can't hear a thing, I know he is a scots man comes from Dunblane but he is Scottish at the end if the day, even though he is playing for Britain, but when he plays in the common wealth games he will be listed as Scottish then, I do agree with gus though, he does get called British when winning and Scottish when losing, is a bit childish at the end of the day but as I said, I'm not really that into tennis anyways

Murray wins Wimbledon. Can you imagine the celebrations in Scotland? I bet they've been through more tenants than Fred West.

A great win for Murray and Scotland.

Perhaps one day, unlike your football managers and players, England will produce a home grown tennis champion. :?:

And well done Alex Salmond, shame there wasn't a brick hidden in your Saltire, you could have clumped the Cameron creature for six.
