Just had an 85 year old lady on the phone to complain about another company. The driver has a large Peugeot WAV. The woman was complaining that she was having trouble getting into the vehicle because it was too high. The driver apparently got a pillow and put it against he bum and pushed her into the vehicle. Being 85 she was a little unstable on her feet and it scarred her a bit.
I wonder if his side step has broken again?

I don't understand why she is complaining to you,as to the vechicle being too high she should have asked for a saloon/estate, amongst our customer base there are a lot of people who have trouble climbing into WAVs and even into Berlingos and similar it's one of the reasons I would not run a WAV.

Our E7's sit about a lot in the day time cos the unsteady brigade ask for a car...

whereas the chavvy mothers with Chantelle in a pushchair ask for the wheelchair vehicle

actually getting complaints about other firms is quite common i think there is an expectation that if they are making a complaint about someone else you will jump in and offer them discounts to switch. something I won't do

I think you are right, and no, I didn't offer a discount.

He used to put in a lot of hours but not now. I think the pillow is in there because I am told that he doesn't have a permanent address anymore and he does sometimes have to sleep in his car.

As Edders pointed out. They think you will give them a discount to get their custom. Anyway you can't complain to the Council because there is never anyone available.
