at between £35 and £150 a bird I don't think I'd want then for Sunday dinner !!!

never heard of them before but obviously popular s'pose they miss their canaries now they don't have to go down the pit and dig eco-unfriendly black stuff out

A word of warning.

Lost a guy that we used to drink with, kept a load of birds over the years. Reckoned that the dust off of the bird feathers got into his lungs - could hardly breath towards the end.

aye, its called dander mate, the african greys i had were terrible for it tbh

about 5x bigger than canaries mate, about cockteil size i would say

It's psittacosis and it's from the droppings.

although , now we are on the "african greys" this bird is funny as fook , swears like a trooper ( never tought mine to swear like, ) strong lingo mind :lol: :lol:
