Brentford is a club which operates in a very similar way to Brighton and it's owner was a close associate of Brightons' owner was he not ?

He was, but most certainly isn't anymore. Oh no no no. [-X

To the point that when B&HA play at Brentford our Billionaire owner sits with the away fans, rather than get anywhere near Benham in the Director's box.

well major chance to rap things up gone begging earlier in the season this lot strung 10 men across the goal and forced a draw at our place and away from home it was 0-0  so the yeltz won away at relegation certainties St Neots but in the meanwhile the Tulips seem to be imploding at the sharp end of the season losing 1-0 at home so they now can't catch us but the Yeltz can so 3 games to go and we are 7 ahead with the last game of the season away at the yeltz !

On Monday it's the Tulips at home which we now need to win to take the title however on the Saturday following we are at home to bottom club Yaxley so a win against them would rap it up without having to go to Halesowen needing a draw. [-o<

Jimbo's Imps managed a win yesterday so doubt they'll take the draws record off the canaries now and CC's team are looking good for promotion as well but he never comes on here these days

Meanwhile in the top division Manure, Man City, Spurs and the Geordies all won so top 5 stays the same but Aston Villa have moved up to 6th

well was looking forward to us beating third place tulips thus winning the title but the ref had other ideas and called the game off after a pitch inspection (b*^!%y rain)

Instead the Yeltz somehow contrived to lose 3-0 at home to mid table Sutton Coldfield and handed us the title without kicking a ball ! So 3 games left to play and we're back in the top division next season . Jimbo you should be pleased seeing as our top striker used to play for your lot in the days when you had a great cup run as well as back to back wins this season.

So it's looking almost a certainty in the premier league for the Goofers but there are Euro spots still up for grabs and of course the dreaded drop ! Wouldn't like to call that one as it's very tight a couple of wins and anyone can escape and doom another team.

Saturday 15th April. Lincoln City v Port Vale.
The craziest game of football I have seen this season, and for several seasons, for that matter.

Game stats that matter. City 3-2 Vale. Three red cards, ten yellow cards. A ref who didn’t know what he was doing. An abject lesson from the official in how to foul up a game of football. Watch on YouTube later or ITV4 we won despite the worst efforts of the officials. We’re not going up, and we’re not going down…

Thought I’d get this in before edders sobers up.

How's our keeper doing?

For the record, we have a better kid playing for Crewe this year.

You could do a lot worse looking at him for next year.

I don't drink ! Isn't that 3 wins in a row for the imps ?

Our season fell flat this week after our 15 game unbeaten run came to an end  but at least the reserves won 3-0 against the bottom club yesterday courtesy of a Margetts hat trick which puts him joint top scorer of the league on 33 goals and of course the trophy was presented after the game :D

Sussex no mention of the result yesterday that must probably be one of your best of the season ?

Carl Rushworth was sent off yesterday and a penalty was awarded to Vale too!
Extremely harsh decision in most people’s view. Rushworth is my player of the season, having saved our blushes on many occasions. I have never seen such a card happy ref ever 10 yellows and three reds, and I wouldn’t say it was a dirty game. Watch the highlights on YouTube and you can see the Rushworth incident. Definitely a keeper! (Pun intended)

We know you don’t drink, because you constantly tell us. However, alcohol isn’t the only intoxicant, is it? #-o

you can never trust these "rankings" just seen a video short on you tube tanking top 10 clubs with the highest wage bill and there were more French and Spanish clubs than premier league :-k

anyway last game of season was a 0-0 away draw vs Yeltz but we had already won the trophy so didn't really matter I suspect the Tulips might come through the playoffs to join us

meanwhile Jimbos Imps are maintaining their spectacular end of season form and CC's Carlisle looking good for a playoff spot

It's FA cup weekend though and Man city brushed aside a spirited Blades side to book their place against the seagulls or will we get a shock and they will get buried under a pile of manure. I won't be watching because I have other plans for tomorrow

I would have enjoyed it more had we won, but you know what, the sun came out this morning.

Not impressed with the street vendors wanting £16 for a cheeseburger and chips, but as I didn't buy any I suppose it could have been £116.

Interesting watching the game from so high up, but in truth, Wembley is a sterile stadium not fit for football IMO.

Interesting spurs lose 6-1 at Newcastle and the manager gets the boot after only 4 matches but when Manure got thrashed 7-0 at rivals Liverpool Ten Haag kept his job

In respect of the football yesterday.

I didn't think in the year 2023 Man United would be playing the long ball game.

Every time the keeper had the ball he booted it up field.

Like watching football from the 70s.

At least you've played at Wembley this season ! The curse of big stadiums is that many fans are a long way from the action (and sometimes parts of the pitch obscured by stanchions)

They played really well you can be proud of that
