That's what brought them into the trade in the first place.

There will be people out there that have never heard of FE or what's happened and will think it's their lucky day cos they've got this contract work. There will always be people who will take a chance because they think they will be able to keep control of the situation

And in the early days they will probably be alright. It will be a few months down the line when things start to frey around the edges again IMO.

so when you see taxis working/ranked up for FE, sorry, Connect point UK, have a word with em...lots of words, in fact SPREAD the word

consider a piece in the local rag, and the trade papers, etc, set up a website about FE too, blog it making it easier to find.

You could get into a whole lot of trouble if you do that.

This is a link to an anti Fraser Eagle blog, which probably has as much info as most, on the subject.

I wonder if drivers could charge double the normal rate in an attempt to get back what they have lost.

Providing the new firms pays that is.

Hey folks,

Found this forum from the referrals off this thread to our blog at http://gigglemal.com

Just to elaborate on a previous post, the blog isn't meant to be 'anti-Fraser Eagle', at least it didn't start that way LOL

However, as more and more details came to light, it just looked murkier and murkier, and the story 'got legs'.

Consequently, we've set up a Forum at http://gigglemal.com/forums and would be grateful if anyone interested could look at it, and even better, register for membership - it's free!

The Forum should be better than the blog, as it's easier to navigate, post comments, add topics, etc. - just like this excellent forum in fact!

In addition to the blog, we've received a tremendous amount of info/Email/stories that we didn't publish, and it's through them that a lot of details came to light. For example, from the blog, our local paper got an 'exclusive' on the administration, the 'new' company called 'Connect-Point UK' and then the intention of transferring the contracts away from the administrator.

We also are aware there are copies of the Connect-Point UK Business Plan doing the rounds explaining fully how Kevin Dean is attempting to transfer the entire rail replacement taxi contracts away from the administrator, using Fraser Eagle assets, whilst recruiting existing suppliers (creditors) in the hope they won't realise they're effectively Fraser Eagle.

Hands up....it was me that contacted you after JD put your link up.

Congrats for the blog.....you'll be paid in heaven I guess, which will be a lot quicker than Fraser Eagle would pay you.

This site seems to be of the opinion that sub contracting of PH work is illegal......what are your views to that.

A freind of mine was owed £30K at the start of Feb and managed to get £20K before they went bust......did they owe you?

And thanks for posting.

regards

CC

well he could have registered a 100% new company name for a start, instead of simply changing an existing Fraser Eagle ltd company, bit of a basic blunder if hes trying to phoenix....
