It will never be that low, the Government need to recoup some money thats been handed out to the banks, they also need more money to help out the car industry which is owned by the Japs, Germans and Indians.

Oil's back up to $60 a barrel.

Derv is now around £1.04 down here, I see the same pattern emerging as before, a penny a week, yet Oil is still half the price it was last year.

Alas the $ to the £ rate is about 25% the wrong way compared to last year.

back up to 99p/litre here. Have you noticed that the derv is running steady but the unleaded is creeping up. The gap between them was about 12 to 15p, now I recon its only 4p. Labour boxing clever & recouping tax off petrol heads. I think Derv would be about 108p but for the smoke & mirrors. Keeps the haulage firms sweet [& me].

all very confusing

Best price for diesel - 99.9p last time I noticed. I've got to fill up tomorrow morning. I'll try to update you after that.

unleaded 94.9p-97.9p

diesel 99.9p-104.9p

all within 3 miles of the refinery that produces the stuff

in fact one garage could have a direct feed from the plant,it's that close. Is it the cheapest? No. That honour goes to asda, who ship it in (literally) from down south, and fill tankers at the dockside for distribution.
