I was nearly two weeks early in saying the killer would sign off the knowledge. Now he has been slung off I believe answers should be given on why he was on the knowledge and had a private hire licence in the first place.

John Mason I'm told won't take any nonsense from Mary Dowdye but lets wait and see.

No, but in fairness, every case has always had to be treated on its individual merits. Applicants have always had the right of appeal, and of course as a last resort a civil action through the courts, so saying 'no' was never that simple.

If say I laughed at your taxi claiming it looked like a van and you got the hump and pushed me back towards my real Taxi (:D), then I tripped and bashed my head on the ground and subsequently popped my clogs, you'd probably be slightly peeved being called a Murderer over a push.

However, I'd hope the person concerned in this story would never have made it to the acceptance stage when the trade was under TO9 control.

His wife never tripped or fell, he in fact strangled her until she stopped breathing.

Thats for the out of town jobs, but you have to work after 2am to get those!

I am thinking about one of these A-Z ones like you havethough. :D

I may invest the £300, but it still sems a bit steep considering units start from about £50 in Tesco!

got home around 7.30pm...........a good day but tired! Last night wasn't too bad, done 3 from the flyers.
