If i employed an illegal and got caught would i get the same % of my income used to calculate the fine? or get the same fine?

You suprise me, I would have thought that with your intelect that you would know that the level of the fine is set within parameters and the fine is given for each illegal employee that you have. So if the fine is set at £5000 then you would be fined £5000 for each illegal employee.

well thats what i assumed, but i was hoping for verification from a higher authority .... thanks

so a millionare law breaker pays £5K (loose change)

while id have to find £5K too or declare myself bankrupt...

She wasn't an illegal immigrant, she just didn't have the right to work in this country. Many thousands of people are in this country perfectly legally but they don't have the right to work here. For instance, we transport hundreds of foreign students to various colleges for study courses. They all have student visas which allows them to stay here for the duration of their course but they are not allowed to work.

Why, the students that come here are paying huge sums of money into our colleges and universities to subsidise the tuition fees for our own students. They are buying their food in our shops, using our taxis and busses to get around and spending a fortune on entertainment whilst they are here.
