a table of fares displayed ( SKDC have deregulated fares which means that proprietors may set their own rates but must deposit a copy with the Council. For those choosing not to do this then the Council “default” rate takes effect) (advice/further details on request)

3 I believe that each company comes up with their own set of fares and gets their meters set accordingly and gives the table of fares to the council.
4 I think they still have to use the meter and work to their published fares.
